How to use
- Step 1. Start with clean, tangle-free hair. For the best result, we recommend using Aircurl™ on damp hair that is 80-90% dry however Aircurl™ can also be used on dry hair to add shape. The roots of the hair must be dry.
- Step 2. The key to long lasting, lush curls is prepping your hair correctly. You want to inject your hair with a heat protectant and contour spray, which will protect your strands from heat and give your hair extra hold.
- Step 3: Divide hair into small, even sections. The smaller the section, the more defined the curl will be. Plug in Aircurl. Taking the first section, clamp the end, turn on Aircurl and select low, medium or high heat. Twist the handle to roll hair up the vented barrel. Alternatively, you can wrap hair around the barrel and clamp to use like a traditional curler. Vertical wrapping will give more of a spiral curl than horizontal.
- Low – low heat 140°F, high speed 25000RPM
- Medium - medium heat 200°F, medium speed 16400RPM
- High – high heat 240°F, high speed 25000RPM
- Step 4. Hold for up to 10 seconds, or until hair is completely dry then turn the machine off. Unwrap the hair and unclamp to release. Repeat each section once to lock in the curl. Repeat with remaining sections.
- Step 5: For an effortless looser curl, gently brush or comb through curls. Finish with a few drops of serum to smooth hair and hydrate ends.
Care Instructions
- To clean the unit, be sure the unit is cool and unplugged. Wipe the handle and plates with a damp cloth. No other maintenance is necessary.
- Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. This appliance has no user serviceable parts.
- Unplug the unit whenever itis not in use. Allow it to cool, then store it out of reach of children in a safe, dry location.
- Never wrap the cord around the appliance, since this will cause the cord to wear prematurely and break, thus voiding warranty. Handle the cord carefully and avoid jerking, twisting, or straining it, especially at plug connections.
